Green Belt
 A Quick Glance
Green Belt certification enhances the
skill set of your employees, equipping them to lead improvement
projects in their respective areas of responsibility.
The five phases of the Six Sigma strategy (Define, Measure,
Analyze, Improve, Control) are introduced in eight days
of training delivered over a two month time frame. Participants
will complete one project prior to certification. |
Six Sigma is a data-driven approach to problem solving, focusing
on defect reduction and process improvement--and almost always
resulting in cost savings. Specific projects are customer-focused,
using a team approach to resolving problems. The methodology
follows a structured sequence of problem solving techniques
to arrive at a solution. Statistics aid in the decision-making
process and help to validate the success of the changes made.
The
Six Sigma strategy is best known from its deployments at
General Electric and Motorola. Since its inception, many other
large manufacturing facilities have benefited from its implementation.
Now the Six Sigma strategy is being applied at a number of
other types of companies: catering services, car washes,
medical services, printing companies and public utilities,
to name
but a few.
Companies of all shapes and sizes are using this
methodology to reduce defects in their industries and strengthen
their
bottom line.
Any company of any size will benefit from this
training opportunity!
